Can you See How I see?
A thought-provoking podcast series hosted by filmmaker, chef, and author Keith Famie, along with master carpenter, craftsman, and environmentalist George Wurtzel—who is blind and offers a truly unique perspective on the world—will launch on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Podbean.
Each episode explores raw, honest conversations with fascinating guests about the aging process, examining how we see, feel, and interpret growing older, both physically and mentally, through a variety of lenses, literal and metaphorical. Drawing on decades of life experience, Keith and George highlight insights from professionals and personal stories of men and women featured in many of Keith’s award-winning PBS films. Together, they challenge conventional thinking and broaden our understanding of the universal journey of aging.
Bending River Films
Partnered with filmmaker Mark Salloum, Bending River Film’s mission is to produce impactful documentary films which explore human experiences, foster empathy, and inspire change. We focus on authentic storytelling to illuminate diverse perspectives and spark meaningful conversations, aiming to shape a more compassionate world.
Through every project, we strive to go beyond surface-level narratives, uncovering the stories that often remain untold. Our films are designed not only to inform but also to create emotional connections that lead to understanding and action. By collaborating with communities, subject matter experts, and partners who share our vision, we ensure that the voices in our films are represented with honesty and respect.
